The Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is looking for input on future mobility plans. And don't let the name fool you - decisions made directly affect Boerne and the surrounding area, as we are included within their map. 

Take special note of the open map application. This is the direct feedback AAMPO utilizes to help steer federal funding to mobility projects in the service area, which does include Boerne. You can use it to pinpoint areas of concern on the map with your comments

Here's something we learned recently that's going to make a lot of people happy. The retired chef from the popular Little Gretel restaurant that closed down a couple years ago is still making her famous Love Kolaches - and they're available for online order and local pickup here in Boerne!

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Boerne has the oldest Shooting Club in continuous use in all of  Texas. New Braunfels was the oldest but it ceased to exist in 2007 and we became #1.

Here you can see the Shooting Club float in a parade back in 1954. This photo was taken by Fred Hillman and is from the Hillman Studio Collection, which was donated to the Patrick Heath Public Library. 📸
