BOERNE FIREFIGHTER DEPLOYS TO CALIFORNIA

Boerne Joins a Team from Other Hill Country Towns

A firefighter from Boerne Fire Department, Santiago Anaya, is part of a Texas strike team sent to California to assist in combating destructive wildfires. The team includes personnel from New Braunfels Fire, Canyon Lake Fire, Schertz Fire, and other departments across the state.

Their deployment is part of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS), which supports national wildfire response efforts. Please keep our local hero and the entire team in your thoughts as they embark on this critical mission.
