THROWBACK THURSDAY
A year ago today, we posted about how a Purple Heart recipient monument had been installed at Veterans Plaza in Boerne, honoring the men and women wounded in combat. The project was led by the Purple Heart Project (PHP) and made possible through community and local business support, not taxpayer funding.
Local partners helped bring it to life, with excavation and concrete work donated by Double R Enterprise and Bernhard Bros. Construction, and the monument crafted by Cornerstone Memorials in San Antonio. A beautiful tribute added to an already wonderful park!
