A PIECE OF BOERNE HISTORY IS GETTING NEW FLOORS AS IT PREPARES FOR ITS NEXT CHAPTER

Did you hear? Boerne’s original school property at 402 E Blanco is being transformed into the new home of Crestmont Christian Preparatory School, set to open in early October.
The main two-story building you see from the road was built in 1910, with the smaller original schoolhouse behind it dating back to 1874.
Now, Crestmont will be bringing students back to the property more than a century after these buildings were constructed.
And helping get those classrooms ready? Our partners at Couture Floors, a local Boerne business celebrating 20 years this year.
Father-and-son Jed and Hunter Mazour are currently working on the floors inside the historic building as it prepares to welcome students again in Fall 2026.
There’s just something fitting about a local family business helping give new life to a piece of Boerne history, especially when that piece of history is becoming a school once again.
And if you’ve got some floors that could use a new chapter too, Couture Floors can help with hardwood, carpet, luxury vinyl, tile, custom showers and more. They offer free estimates and have an experienced design team that can help you figure out exactly what works for your home. You can learn more here.
