Good morning, Boerne. This is The Boerne Life, the newsletter that has a super busy week ahead, starting with the Boerne High School Homecoming Parade tonight. Who is ready for some candy? 🍬

Remember, Blanco Rd will be closed from Main Plaza to Esser from 5:30 - 7:30, along with the stretch of Esser there from Blanco to the high school entrance.

Ok, let’s take a look at all the other stuff!

TRAIN LIKE A CHAMPION AT NEWKS 🎾

Looking ahead to the holidays? Newks Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels is already lining up its world-class junior tennis camps, widely considered some of the best in the Texas Hill Country.

Thanksgiving Camp runs Nov. 22–26, followed by Winter Camps on Dec. 19–23, Dec. 26–31, and Jan. 1–4. Each camp is customized by age and skill level — beginners learn the basics, while competitive players train hard with on-court fitness to get tournament ready.

The camps are a blast on and off the court. Our own daughter attended this summer and came home a stronger player — strong enough to make varsity at Boerne High as a sophomore. We credit Newks for giving her that edge.

For more details, commuter rates, or to sign up, visit newktennis.com or call 830-625-9105.

MOTIVATION MONDAY 💪

To be honest, we’ve been in a bit of a workout rut the last couple of weeks, so this section is for us too! We’ve updated our guide to Gyms in Boerne. So after we hit the send button on this email, we’re going to get dressed and get to working out!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR

This section is sponsored today by Trader’s Village in San Antonio. If you’ve never been, they have a packed month ahead. On Sept. 14, enjoy a free Fiestas Patrias concert with live music, mariachi, and dancing. Then starting Sept. 27, tackle South Texas’ largest corn maze with trails, rides, and a Halloween light show running through mid-November. You can learn more here.

Sept 12: Pizza Volterra Grand Opening - this is a big one, y’all! We’ve been waiting for weeks for this pizza truck to open, and we’ve been partnering with them to make sure everyone knows. We can’t wait to try them out!

Thanks!

Thanks for reading The Boerne Life today. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Please, share with your friends!

Until next time,
