Friday night lights are back, and there’s a home game to catch nearly every week between the Boerne Greyhounds, Champion Chargers, and Geneva Eagles. From packed stadiums and marching bands to rivalry games and homecoming, local football is one of the best fall traditions around town.

The Little Gym of Boerne is hosting a special Strong Like Mom workout class on Wednesday, September 9, from 8:45–9:30 AM. Led by Train with Caroline, this free member-only event is all about movement, community, and getting stronger together.
Spots are limited and filling up fast, so members will want to RSVP soon. It’s a fun way to get moving and celebrate the strength of moms!

Comfort is getting a new sweet spot as Julia’s Ice Cream Shop prepares to open at 429 State Hwy 27, next to the plant store. The shop is currently listed as “coming soon,” but there’s no official opening date just yet.
Based on the logo, traditional artisan Mexican ice cream and paletas may be coming to the menu. More details are still to come, so this is one to keep an eye on.

The Enzo has arrived at Carmella’s Pizza Parlor as September’s monthly special. It starts with hand-stretched dough and house-made vodka sauce, then gets topped with thin-sliced prosciutto, whole milk mozzarella, creamy ricotta, and basil pesto.
Rich, creamy, salty, and herby, The Enzo is available in 12" or 16" throughout September. Find it at 110 Market Ave and pair it with a glass of Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva for the full experience.

Brevity Coffee Co. and April’s Art Haus are teaming up for a morning that puts a fun spin on both coffee and art. On September 21 at 9 AM, guests can sip their lattes while actually using coffee to create their artwork.
The experience takes place at Brevity next to H-E-B in Boerne and offers a creative way to start the morning. It’s definitely not your typical painting class.

The owner of The Christmas Shoppe has had a Christmas movie idea in her head for years, and Boerne’s Hallmark Christmas Town buzz finally gave her the push to start writing it.
Now, she needs the community’s help getting it in front of Hallmark, actors, producers, and directors. A few tags could help shine a spotlight on a Christmas movie being written right here in Boerne.
