FALL CRAFT CLASSES & FUN AT HANDMADE ON MAIN đźŤ‚🪴

Sign Up Early Before They Fill Up!

Feeling crafty, Boerne? Handmade on Main is bringing creativity and community together this fall with a lineup of unique workshops that are perfect for a girls’ day out or a fun weekend activity.

Sunday, September 28 kicks off with Plant BINGO at 2 pm—five rounds of plant-themed fun with plant prizes, plus private shopping time with 10% off purchases. Stick around afterward for the Succulent Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop at 4 pm, led by Crazy Plant Love.

Then on Sunday, November 9, make it a doubleheader! Start with an Air Dry Clay Ornament Workshop at 2 pm, where you’ll craft nature-inspired ornaments using pressed leaves, flowers, and more. Later that afternoon, Crazy Plant Lovee returns at 4 pm for the Succulent Pumpkin Workshop. Fall vibes, complete with snacks and drinks.

These classes are intimate and sell out quickly, so early registration is highly recommended.

The One That Did NOT Get Away 🎣

On April 17, 2023, Boerne City Lake saw one of its most legendary catches. Local fisherman Cooper Kennell battled for three hours to reel in a massive catfish measuring 40 inches long, 28 inches around, and weighing 40 pounds.

In true sportsman fashion, Cooper and his dad Brendan released the giant back into the lake, giving others a chance to share in the thrill.

Parks & Rec summed it up best at the time: “We’re going to need a bigger boat!”
