Storytime: Once upon a time, our kid "accidentally" flushed a flashlight down the toilet. We couldn't fish it out, and didn't have the time to pull the toilet off and dig deeper.

We called Olde Town Plumbing, a local, family-owned business with literally hundreds of five star reviews. They came out and handled the entire thing for us, and did a great job.

Olde Town Plumbing did a great job for us, and now they're ready to do a great job for you. Whether you need a toilet fixed, pipes replaced, gas lines repaired... they have your back!

➡️Call them at (830) 446-5227 or visit them on the web here.

Boerne is turning Oktoberfest into a full fall season, with breweries, restaurants, and Joshua Creek Ranch hosting celebrations from late September through October. Expect Märzen lagers, bratwurst, German-inspired menus, live music, contests, and even a few dog-friendly festivities.

From Free Roam’s Oktoberfest weekend to Joshua Creek Ranch’s German dinner, Barktoberfest, Ducktoberfest, and more, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. Whether you want a brewery hangout or a sit-down German dinner, there’s an Oktoberfest event to add to your calendar.

You don’t have to adopt a kitten to make a difference. Fetch & Friskers Pet Shop and Barkery has a kitten room where you can stop in, play with the kittens, and give them some much-needed social time with new people.

Those little interactions help kittens become more comfortable and confident around humans, which can make them more adoptable. And if you happen to fall in love with one while you’re there… well, that’s between you and the kitten.

A new filing shows Ignite Pilates is planning a 1,365-square-foot studio at 21 Herff Road, Suite 102, inside Boerne Center. The proposed $150,000 buildout is scheduled to begin October 15, with an estimated completion date of February 28, 2027.

Plans include a reception area, workout space, break room, and accessible restroom. While timelines can change, the filing is the latest sign that activity could finally be picking up inside the development.

Cypress Grille has officially reopened in Boerne, with Chef Paul and Chef Kevin back in the kitchen serving up the dishes guests have been waiting for. The restaurant reopened Tuesday, September 22, bringing its refreshed space back to life.

And there’s more to look forward to: the full bar is expected to open in about a week, adding another reason to stop by and see what’s new at Cypress Grille.
