Boerne Dinner Club is back September 29, and this time it’s happening on a Tuesday night! You’ll take a quick personality and interests quiz, get matched with five other locals, and discover your restaurant the morning of the event. After dinner, everyone comes together for an after-party.

With 100 locals joining the last Dinner Club across seven Boerne restaurants, this has become a fun way to make new connections and try something different. Whether you’re new to town or simply looking to meet more people, spots are expected to fill quickly.

10. Oktoberfest At 28 Songs (Sat)

Get into the Oktoberfest spirit at 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen with German-inspired food, specialty beer, and plenty of festive fun. The celebration runs Saturday from noon to 5 PM. Learn more

13. Gold Star Monument Dedication (Sun)

A new Gold Star Monument will be dedicated Sunday in honor of military families who have lost a loved one in service. The ceremony offers a meaningful opportunity to remember and honor their sacrifice. Learn more

14. Tiles For Transformation (Sun)

Spend Sunday playing mahjong at Tiles for Transformation, a tournament supporting a meaningful local cause. The event gets underway at 1 PM and brings players together for an afternoon of games and community. Learn more

A free, self-service microchip scanning station is now available outside the Boerne Police Department near the Patrick Heath Public Library book drop-off. Found a lost pet after hours? You can now scan for a microchip without waiting for the shelter to open.

The station was created by Girl Scout Troop 758 and Boerne Animal Care Services in honor of K-9 Chico, with the Scouts designing the housing and Animal Care Services providing the scanner.

Fetch & Friskers was recognized by PETS+ Magazine as one of the “coolest pet stores in North America,” an honor celebrating outstanding independent pet retailers. The locally loved shop offers premium pet foods, natural wellness products, and specialty finds for dogs and cats.

Many Boerne pet owners remember Fetch & Friskers from its Main Street days. Now located just off I-10, the team continues helping local pet parents find products you won’t typically see at big-box stores.
