Fall is almost here, and Boerne’s calendar is filling up fast. From festivals and concerts to hikes, markets, car shows, and family activities, there are plenty of ways to make the most of the season.
We rounded up 28 events and activities happening around town from late September through November, including Boerne Ghost Tours, Oktoberfest celebrations, the Boerne Book Festival, Barktoberfest, and the Turkey Trot.
Lonestar Collective Dance is bringing big energy to Boerne with competitive dance training for dancers at every level, from first classes to advanced competition. With a variety of styles and a strong focus on technique, dancers have the opportunity to grow their skills while becoming well-rounded performers.
But the studio is about more than what happens on stage. Lonestar Collective Dance also helps young dancers build confidence, discipline, creativity, and skills they can carry with them beyond the studio.

The historic Boerne High School wall has officially been dismantled after efforts to stabilize the structure failed. Crews were still working at the site Tuesday afternoon after the district determined the wall posed a significant safety risk.
Boerne ISD says as many original bricks and materials as possible will be salvaged and incorporated into a new piece honoring the landmark and its history.

THE BOERNE BUZZ
Dinner Club is back September 29 after bringing 100 locals together across seven Boerne restaurants for its last event. Guests take a quick quiz, get matched with five other locals, and find out their restaurant the morning of the event before everyone meets up for an after-party. Find out how to join
The Oak is transforming into Casino Royale on October 31 with casino games, food, cocktails, costume contests, and prizes. The evening will also benefit Reel Warriors, with more details coming soon. Take a look here
BOERNE OFFICERS BRING HOME TOPGOLF GOLD
Three Boerne Police Department officers represented BPD at the Special Olympics Texas San Antonio Area Topgolf Unified Fore Joy Pro Am and took first place in the Law Enforcement Division. Lt. Irvin, Sgt. Meuth, and Officer Gomez brought home the gold while supporting Special Olympics athletes. Read more
CATCH HAMLET AT CHAMPION HIGH SCHOOL
Champion High School Theatre is bringing Shakespeare’s Hamlet to the stage October 15–18. Performances run from 7–10 PM at Champion High School, giving local audiences a chance to see this classic performed by student talent. See what to expect
ABLAZE YOUTH OUTREACH IS POPPING UP AROUND BOERNE
Ablaze Youth Outreach is spending September connecting with middle and high school students around town. The group will be at different locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays, offering snacks, drinks, conversation, and a welcoming place to hang out. Learn more

The sign is officially up at Firehouse Subs, and the new Boerne location is getting closer to opening its doors. If you’ve been waiting for another spot to grab a hearty sub, you won’t have much longer to wait.
The new location is expected to open within the next few weeks at 1375 S. Main St. #221, bringing Firehouse Subs to Boerne just in time for a fresh local sandwich option.

The Kendall County Fair Association is holding a special membership meeting tonight as former Queen’s Court members, parents, and community supporters call for changes to leadership and reforms to the pageant program.
The meeting starts at 7 PM in the New Hall at the Kendall County Fairgrounds. The public can attend, while voting will be limited to eligible KCFA members who joined at least 30 days before the meeting.
The Boerne Farmers Market is adding something new to Tuesday evenings with 2 Peas in a Pod, a mother-and-son podcast from market founder and Marketing Director Dondi Voigt Persyn and her son Dawson.
Recorded live at the market every third Tuesday, the podcast will spotlight the farmers, vendors, chefs, neighbors, and other local people who help make Boerne’s food and community scene special. You’ll even be able to watch them record while you shop!

The first train to Boerne brought more than 600 people with it. When the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad arrived in March of 1887, a seven-car train packed with more than 600 passengers rolled into town — and Boerne threw a day-long celebration.
