How long has it been since you had a massage? Too long for us. That’s why we are calling TODAY to get on their schedule of our friends at Massage Heights Boerne.

If your neck and shoulders ache, you wake up tired even after a full night’s sleep, your to-do list never ends, or your mind just won’t stop racing, it might be time for a massage. A single session can help restore balance, ease tension, and give you the reset you need to take on whatever life brings.

FUMC BOERNE CELEBRATES 150 YEARS THIS WEEK

This week, the First United Methodist Church will celebrate a remarkable milestone with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday at 1:30 pm: 150 years in our community! That makes it one of the oldest church congregations in Boerne!

Before the church met on East James St, it met in the Kuhfuss Building on Main Street above a saloon! Later they met in the Kendall County Courthouse and in the La Motte Building before building their own church in 1879 near St. Peter. That structure was then moved to the current church site in 1900.

If you wish to attend the ribbon cutting, learn more here.

BOERNE HISTORY FUN FACT 🚂

Hidden in plain sight along South Main Street is one of Boerne’s oldest surviving structures — and it holds a fascinating piece of Texas history.

Built in the 1850s by Irish immigrant John G. O’Grady, this small stone building is all that remains of a once-bustling inn and stagecoach stop that served travelers along the old government trail.

Legend has it Confederate General Robert E. Lee stayed here multiple times while traveling between Camp Verde and Fort Sam Houston.

O’Grady was a key figure in early Boerne — a fighter, postmaster, and historian who contributed to the Texas Almanac and the Smithsonian.

Today, the Vogt-Schoch House remains a quiet reminder of the stories and lives that helped shape Boerne’s beginnings.

Note: it's on private property, so just look from the street! It’s located right across Evergreen St. from The Oak and Pizza Volterra. So you can go take a look from the street while you wait for your pizza!

THE HARDEST WORKING DOOR IN THE HOUSE

But Does Yours Even Work?

Fun fact: the average garage door opens and closes 3–5 times a day — that’s more than 1,500 times a year! When it works right, you don’t think twice. When it doesn’t… let’s just say you might find yourself sprinting like this. 😅

Keep your garage door running smoothly with our partners at Precision Garage Door Service. From quick repairs to brand-new installs, they’ve got you covered.
