If you’ve been out to Black Board Bar B Q in Sisterdale, you know this isn’t just a convenient BBQ pickup. This is some seriously good Texas barbecue, and they’re known to sell out.

They’ll be open September 7 from 11 AM–4 PM, which means you can let Black Board handle the cooking for your Labor Day plans.

Hosting at home? Place your order online ahead of time, grab your brisket, ribs, sausage and sides, and bring one of the Hill Country’s best BBQ spreads back to the house.

And considering how often the good stuff disappears, ordering ahead is probably the right move.

It’s a great fall event to add to the calendar, whether you’re a longtime book lover or just looking for something fun to do in Boerne.

For more than 20 years, Chef Paul and the Cypress Grille team have been serving up local favorites on Main Street. Now, a refreshed restaurant and brand-new full bar are taking shape in the former Jac’s space right in front of the restaurant.

The new bar and refreshed restaurant are set to make their soft debut October 2 during the Hill Country Mile Rod Run. Keep an eye out for what’s coming next from this longtime Boerne favorite!
