👉What to Do This Weekend

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning, Boerne. This is The Boerne Life, the newsletter that has a big weekend for you. So let’s cut to the chase and get right to it!👇

— Chris

Hummingbirds are on the move, and Boerne is right in the heart of their migratory pathway. Keeping your feeders out right now provides vital energy for birds making their long journey south.

🚫 Myth: Leaving feeders up keeps hummers from migrating.
✅ Truth: Migration is triggered by daylight and insect availability, not feeders.

Keep feeders up for at least two weeks after your last sighting — you might just give a late traveler the boost they need!

Discover Wild Birds Unlimited of Boerne, tucked next to 28 Songs off North Main. From top-quality feeders and seed to expert advice, they’ll help you create the perfect setup to welcome hummingbirds, cardinals, and songbirds to your yard.

📍 110 Market Ave, Suite 106 (same center as 28 Songs)

HERE’S WHERE YOU CAN GET TOMATO-LESS SALSA IN BOERNE 🚫🍅

Sometimes we like to just walk though Nature’s Presence and discover new stuff we didn’t know existed. And here’s a great example of that. Salsa that’s made with zero tomatoes!

Some people are on diets that cause them to skip tomatoes because they contain lectins, others are allergic to tomatoes, and some just don’t like them.

Well, Nature’s Presence carries this locally made salsa that has no tomatoes in it. It’s fermented, sort of like kimchi, so it’s good for your gut too. Now, I know it sounds strange. But we bought a jar and tried it out… and it’s pretty good!

So head over to 807 N Main St and find something new to try… like tomato-less salsa!
