BOERNE HIGH SCHOOL IS BACK FRIDAY 🏈

The stadium might be empty right now... but not for long!
That's right, football season is just a day away. And the Greyhounds will take the field tomorrow night at 7 PM against Pieper High School. There’s even a special tailgating event put on by the Greyhound Athletic Booster Club starting at 5:30.
The car in the photo? Oh, that's just the new QX80 from our sponsors at INFINITI of Boerne. No better way to drive to the game!

WATCH A DECADE OF OLD KENDALL COUNTY FAIR PARADES ON YOUTUBE
Parades from 1962 - 1974 Were Uploaded for All to See
Our minds were blown when reader Ross Ebner commented that his dad, John Ebner, had uploaded parades he had filmed in the 60's and 70's to YouTube.
You can watch parades from 1962 - 1974. And it's just as amazing as it sounds. But don't take our word for it: watch for yourselves!

THE KENDALL COUNTY FAIR IN THE 1920'S 🤠

The Kendall County Fair has been a Boerne tradition since the early 1900's. The first fair was held in the “Opera House” located in downtown Boerne on September 4, 1905.
In, 1913, the Ferdinand Ludwig Von Herff Family donated 55 acres of land to the Kendall County Fair Association and the County Fairgrounds were born.
Fun fact: to ensure the Fair continued for generations, the deed strictly forbade the sale of the property.
