The Kendall County Fair is back for its 120th year over Labor Day Weekend, running September 4–6 at the Kendall County Fairgrounds. From the Saturday morning parade and nightly rodeos to carnival rides, livestock shows, contests, shopping, live music, and all the fair food, there’s a little bit of everything.
Tickets are $20 per person, with kids 10 and under getting in free. The weekend lineup includes Jody Nix on Friday, Wade Bowen on Saturday, and Fast Movin’ Train on Sunday.
The Boerne Life Dinner Club is back August 26 after bringing more than 100 locals together across several Boerne restaurants for great food, new friendships, and plenty of conversation. Here’s how it works: take a quick personality and interests quiz, get matched with five other locals, and find out your restaurant the morning of the event before everyone meets up for an after-party.

The Boerne Police Department is warning residents about scammers pretending to be police officers and claiming the person has missed jury duty and will be arrested unless they pay immediately.
Police say they will never demand money over the phone or threaten arrest for refusing to pay, so don’t send money or share personal information if you receive one of these calls. Hang up and verify the information through an official number.
Honda of Boerne is building its local team ahead of its planned early fall opening. With construction underway, the new dealership is hiring across several departments, giving local job seekers a chance to get in early with a brand-new location.
The dealership is part of the family-owned Pohanka Automotive Group, which has been in business since 1919, and more opportunities are expected as the opening gets closer.

The 120th Kendall County Fair is getting closer, but organizers still need local volunteers to help with everything from tickets and wristbands to the Sugar Shack, beer gardens, and rodeo booth. Boerne Heritage Volkspark is already nearly 50% complete, with the nearly 40-acre park expected to open in spring 2027. Phase one will include an all-abilities playground, splashpad, two sports fields, covered basketball courts, 12 pickleball courts, a dog park, food truck park, and a half-mile ADA walking trail.
The project is also incorporating major environmental features, including rainwater harvesting, stormwater filtration, native landscaping, and water-efficient irrigation, while preserving more than 96% of the existing trees.
This Honor System Farm Stand in Leon Springs is packed with farm-fresh eggs, local produce, snacks, and handcrafted herbal products. You’ll find everything from popsicles and beef sticks to tinctures, teas, and small-batch skincare.
