👉Sprouts Update + Farmers Market Moving

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Happy Friday, Boerne! The weekend is officially here, and we’re ready to celebrate AMERICA. Just a quick reminder: the library, city offices, and the Boerne Chamber will be closed today in advance of the holiday.

We also wanted to take a moment in advance of the weekend to pause and remember the heartbreaking tragedy our neighbors faced last year on July 4th. In the midst of all the celebrations for our nation’s 250th, we will not forget. 💚 With that in mind, it’s a great weekend to go support local businesses in Comfort, CenterPoint, Kerrville, etc. who have struggled in the last year due to hardships from the floods.

Inside Today's Email:

  • Sprouts Construction Begins

  • Boerne Farmers Market Is Moving

  • Pan & Coffee Gets A Drive-Thru

  • First Saturdays on Main returns this weekend

And a whole lot more. Let’s get into it!

— Chris

SPROUTS GETS THE GREEN LIGHT TO BEGIN WORK

Boerne's future Sprouts Farmers Market is one step closer to reality. The City of Boerne has approved permits for Phase 2 of Boerne Town Center, allowing construction to begin this month on the next phase of the development.

Sprouts will serve as the anchor tenant alongside additional retailers, with construction expected to take about a year. It marks the final phase of Boerne Town Center following the recent openings of businesses like Chipotle and Chicken Salad Chick.

Looking for something different to do this Fourth of July weekend? Joshua Creek Ranch is celebrating America250 with a special offer running July 2–5 that includes 100 sporting clays plus a jumbo hot dog and fries for $65 (+tax). You'll also find $1.50 Bomb Pops and 25% off select Pro Shop merchandise during the event.

Whether you're a seasoned shooter or trying sporting clays for the first time, it's the perfect excuse to spend a day at one of the Texas Hill Country's most scenic ranches.

THE TUESDAY BOERNE FARMERS MARKET IS MOVING TO MAIN STREET

The Boerne Farmers Market is getting a new home beginning Tuesday, August 4. The weekly market will relocate to 157 S. Main Street, in the parking lot next to The Boerne Bookshop.

The same local vendors, fresh produce, baked goods, handmade products, and welcoming community atmosphere will still be there—just in a new downtown location that's even easier to explore before or after shopping on the Hill Country Mile.

While this is usually a paid lot, parking will be free during the event. There is also a parking lot directly behind it that’s free to park in.

Looking for something fun to do with your furry friend? Fetch & Friskers Pet Shop and Barkery is hosting Paws & Petals on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., where you can create a beautiful floral paw print keepsake for just $10 per pet.

Spots are limited and filling up quickly, so it's a good idea to reserve yours early. It's a fun way to make a lasting memory with your favorite four-legged companion.
