PURPLE HEART MONUMENT BENCH NOW INSTALLED 💜

New Community-Funded Tribute Completes Veterans Plaza Addition

The Purple Heart Monument at Veterans Plaza just received its final touch—a bench facing the memorial, offering a peaceful space to pause and reflect.

Led by Mark Sierra of the Purple Heart Project, the entire tribute was funded by local residents and businesses, with no taxpayer dollars involved.

A dedication ceremony is scheduled for August 7—National Purple Heart Day. Veterans Plaza is located at 801 S Main Street, across from St. Peter Catholic Church.
