Lane Closure on Johns Road Scheduled for Wednesday Morning
Heads up if you’re out and about Wednesday morning: the City of Boerne Electric Department will be working at Johns Road and North School Street as part of the 2022 Bond Project. To safely complete the work, the eastbound lane of Johns Road will be closed from 8 to 11 am. Plan ahead and consider alternate routes.
Richter Bakhaus Has Sold Over 15,000 GIANT Cinnamon Rolls This Year 🤯
That’s more than 17,000 pounds of flour rolled into ooey-gooey, cinnamon-sugar greatness—and we’re not even mad about it.
If you haven’t tried one of Boerne’s most beloved baked goods yet, what are you waiting for? Their “cinnamon rolls as big as your head” sell out fast, so we recommend ordering ahead. Call (830) 331-2675. Located at 153 S Main St. See the viral cinnamon rolls here.
Musicians Wanted for First Families Celebration Band
The Genealogical Society of Kendall County is putting together a band for this fall’s First Families Celebration, and they’re looking for local musicians to join in.
They’re seeking piano, trumpet, trombone, French horn, and clarinet players. Weekly rehearsals begin August 7, with the performance set for September 20.
If you’re interested in playing your own instrument with the group, contact Richard Asher at 830-446-9811.
