GRAND OPENING THIS THURSDAY: THE OAK PIT AT FAIR OAKS RANCH GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club is inviting the public to experience something special this weekâan evening of music, food, and community to celebrate the grand opening of The Oak Pit, their newly renovated outdoor pavilion space.
Normally members-only, the club is opening its doors this Thursday, July 24 from 4 to 8 pm for everyone to enjoy the refreshed space. There will be music from a live DJ, great food, and the chance to meet Chef Sam and Michael, the clubâs new Food & Beverage Director.
Whether youâre a longtime Fair Oaks resident or just curious to check out the club, this is your chance to see it all.

SPROUTS SETS CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE
Estimated Opening Date for Boerneâs New Grocery Store Revealed
Back in the spring, we told you Sprouts Farmers Market was coming to Boerne Town Centerâbut what we didnât know then was when. Now weâve got our first look at the projected timeline.
According to new filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Sprouts plans to start construction on January 15, 2026, with an estimated completion date of February 1, 2027.
As always, these timelines are subject to change, so donât mark your calendars just yet. But now we know itâs officially on the books.
Weâll keep tracking it as it moves along.

HILL & BACH CELLARS BREAKS GROUND ON MAIN
New Winery Moving Into the Historic Luckenbach House Finally Breaks Ground

After some delay, it's finally happening â construction is underway at 265 N Main Street, where Hill & Bach Cellars plans to open a new winery by the end of the year (but we wonât hold them to that timeline!).
The new space will take over the historic Luckenbach House, just next to Red Crest Pet Shop and the old feed store, and will feature a spacious outdoor area perfect for wine sipping and Main Street people-watching.

STEP BACK IN TIME AT FLASHBACK FUNTIQUES
One of the Coolest, Quirkiest Shops on Main Street

Flashback Funtiques is a fun antique store that is 100% awesome. Located at 248 S Main Street, itâs packed with retro neon signs, vintage jukeboxes, classic arcade games, and all the quirky treasures you didnât know you needed.
Owner Billy Howard ran this shop in Houston for 21 years before bringing it to Boerne in 2012, and heâs been filling it with âfuntiquesâ and good vibes ever since.
Grab a free glass bottle soda while you browse, and donât forget to snap a photo outsideâthe mural along what used to be the alley is one of the most Instagrammable walls in town.

Veterans Keeping Boerne Looking Sharp

Big thanks to VFW Post 688, who picks up trash and cleans up at River Road Park once a month as part of the Adopt-A-Park program. My son and I enjoy this park frequently for biking through and fishing.
