EAT PIE, SUPPORT FLOOD RELIEF TODAY 🄧

Tootie Pie Will Donate 100% of Sales Today

Tootie Pie Co. on Main Street is doing something special today. They’re donating 100% of all sales to support victims and families affected by the recent Hill Country flooding.

Every slice, pie, or sweet indulgence purchased today will directly contribute to local recovery efforts. It’s an easy (and delicious) way to show up for the community.

WHERE WERE WE WEDNESDAY? šŸ¤”

Is this the world’s largest Lone Star Beer can? We don’t know, but we like to say it is! 🤣 Do you know where this fun little Easter egg is hiding in Boerne? Read to the end of the newsletter and we’ll tell you!

But before we get there, we have to admit, this isn’t actually full of beer. Or at least we don’t think it is! This is actually a water storage tank. And if your home runs on a well, one of these can make a big difference. It reduces strain on your pump, extends its life, and helps avoid costly repairs—especially during summer months.

Our local expert partners at Hammer Next Level Excavation specialize in these systems and can help you set it up right.

Why call Hammer? They're a local, family-owned and operated company, run by a veteran firefighter and his wife and kids! They can handle installing your tank, running the water lines, and more!

Call Brian Hammer at 210-846-4135 or click here to learn more!

El Rio Closed Today for Maintenance

El Rio, a longtime Boerne favorite known for its Mexican food and legendary chicken fried steak, will be closed all day today, Wednesday, for equipment maintenance and replacement. The family-owned restaurant plans to reopen Thursday with regular business hours.

If you haven’t been yet, this spot at 1361 S Main St #600 is an old Boerne staple—and locals will tell you their chicken fried steak is worth the trip. Stop by later this week and see what the buzz is about.

WAYBACK WEDNESDAY āŒ›

Back in the early 1900's 103 N. Main was the Redball Service Station, owned by local Joe Sill. ⛽

Joe was born and raised in Boerne (1890-1945). Joe was married to Erna Richter, daughter of Otto Richter and Helene Bodeman, in 1916.

This spot now houses Tre Pizzeria. šŸ•

MARK YOUR CALENDAR

Here are a few upcoming events you won’t want to miss!

So, Where Were We?

The Lone Star Beer water tank can be seen heading down Ranger Creek Road across from the water plant near Boerne Lake. It’s private property and fenced off, but can be seen plainly from the road. We get thirsty every time we drive by. šŸŗšŸŗ
