Boerne's Chipotle officially has a target opening date. According to information provided to The Boerne Life by the project's design manager, the restaurant is scheduled to open on June 23 at 10:45 am inside Boerne Town Center.

The new location will be at 34674 I-10 W, Suite 101, joining several other businesses that are helping transform the long-awaited development into one of the busiest commercial hubs in town. While opening dates can always change, this is the first official date shared with us.

Every badge has a story, and Officer Reed's is one built around service, teamwork, and protecting the Boerne community. Alongside his K-9 partner, Warti, Reed helps respond to emergencies, track suspects, and keep dangerous narcotics off local streets.

Their partnership is a reminder of the dedication and training that goes into law enforcement work every day. From challenging calls to memorable successes, Reed's journey offers a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to serve the people of Boerne.

Red, white, and blue decorations are already appearing around town, but that's just the beginning. Boerne is rolling out a summer-long America250 celebration featuring special exhibits, patriotic events, library programs, concerts, fireworks, family activities, and more.

From Independence Day festivities and a Texas history exhibit to community programs and reading challenges, there will be plenty of ways for residents to participate in the nation's 250th anniversary throughout the summer.

Pet owners won't want to miss the Wags & Whiskers Wellness Roundup on June 13 at The Kendall. Hosted by Fetch & Friskers, this one-day event brings together nationally recognized experts to discuss pet nutrition, gut health, immune support, holistic wellness, herbal care, and integrative veterinary medicine.

In addition to educational sessions, attendees can explore vendor booths, snap photos at the photo booth, and connect with other pet lovers. Conveniently located next to Boerne Market Days, it's an easy addition to a Saturday downtown.

BUBBLE LAB IS COMING TO THE LITTLE GYM*

With Chicken Salad Chick now open and Chipotle preparing to open later this month, many people have been asking us what's happening with Taco Bell and KFC.

According to the latest site plans, both restaurants are still part of Phase 1 of Boerne Town Center. The key detail is that they aren't planned for the shell buildings currently filling with tenants. Instead, both are shown as future freestanding buildings near the corner of Interstate 10 and Christus Parkway.
