HONDA OF BOERNE IS TAKING SHAPE

We drove by yesterday and saw the progress on the new dealership. And as construction continues along, Honda of Boerne has begun hiring as they work toward a September 2026 opening.
The dealership broke ground last year and is owned by the Pohanka Automotive Group, a family-owned company that’s been around since 1919. They’re currently building their local team ahead of launch, with openings across several departments.
We’re partnering with Honda of Boerne to share occasional updates as construction progresses and as they get closer to opening.
You can learn more and view current job openings and the dealership here.

THE BOERNE BUZZ
Lake Closed Yesterday to Investigate Drowning
We hate to share this news, but we’re extremely saddened to say that the lake was closed to investigate a child’s drowning yesterday evening. No word on if the lake will remained closed today. You can read the update on the City’s site here.
Strawberry Moon Tonight
June's full moon, known as the Strawberry Moon, will rise over the Texas Hill Country around sunset, marking the first full moon of astronomical summer. Despite its name, the moon won't actually be red. The name comes from the traditional June strawberry harvest in parts of North America. As it rises low above the horizon, it often appears larger than usual and can take on beautiful golden and reddish colors.
For the best view, find an open spot with a clear view toward the southeastern horizon shortly after sunset.
