Buc-ee’s Buys More Land for Parking

Rezoning Request Goes Before Planning & Zoning July 7

A new public hearing notice was posted near the future Buc-ee’s site at 33375 I-10. The City of Boerne confirmed that Buc-ee’s recently purchased this adjoining parcel from TXDOT and is requesting to rezone it to C3 — the same zoning as their main property — for use as an accessory parking lot.

The rezoning request is scheduled to go before the Planning & Zoning Commission on July 7. It’s another step forward as work continues on Boerne’s highly anticipated Buc-ee’s.

Our friends at Boerne Radio snagged this photo of a new sign going up at the Days Inn near I-10. Except it’s no longer Days Inn… it’s Boerne Inn. Sounds like it’s the same owners, just a rebrand. No word yet on if any other changes will occur to the property.
