BOERNE FAMILIES ARE ABOUT TO HAVE A NEW PLAYGROUND TO EXPLORE

A highly anticipated new family-friendly destination is getting closer to opening in Boerne. Missick Cellars, the upcoming winery located just outside town, appears to be on track for a late July opening, and we recently spotted something parents are going to love: a brand-new playground tucked beneath a canopy of giant oak trees.

The playground sits in the winery's spacious backyard and looks designed to give kids plenty of room to play while parents relax nearby. It's shaping up to be a unique addition to Boerne's growing list of family-friendly gathering spots, and we'll be keeping an eye out for an official opening date.
