28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen just rolled out new patio furniture, and it’s basically your sign to go sit down, relax, and stay awhile. Located at 110 Market Ave, it’s the kind of spot made for easy lunches, cold drinks, and good company.

Even better, they’re serving a full lineup of $8.95 lunch specials that make it one of the best mid-day deals in town. From quick bites to full plates, it’s an easy stop whether you’re working nearby or just out and about.

Father’s Day week in Boerne is packed with ways to celebrate, whether it’s festivals, brunches, outdoor adventures, or laid-back local spots. From Das Festival of Kendall and winery pairings to sporting clays, live music, and family meals, there’s something for every kind of dad.

A lot of buyers and sellers in Boerne are thinking the same thing right now: “Maybe I’ll just wait until fall.” But our partner Charley Wasson with Sunflower Real Estate says summer can actually be one of the strongest times to make a move, depending on your goals.

For buyers, summer usually brings more new listings to the market, which means more options to choose from before things slow down later in the year. For sellers, it also means more motivated buyers are actively searching, which can lead to stronger offers in the right conditions.

Boerne Lake has climbed significantly after recent heavy rainfall, rising about 7 feet in just one week according to the City of Boerne. That puts the lake at roughly 86% capacity, a noticeable jump compared to last year’s levels.

More rain is still in the forecast, meaning conditions around the lake and surrounding areas could continue to change heading into the week.

Daddy & Me Playdates at The Little Gym of Boerne are all about dads and their little ones spending intentional time together through movement, play, and connection. Kids get to climb, explore, and build confidence while dads join in on the fun, creating real memories in a guided, high-energy environment designed just for them.

Sessions are scheduled for June 17 (Birds, 10–19 months, 9–11 AM), and June 19 (All Ages, 12–2 PM). It’s free for members using makeups or $20 per child for non-members, and spots are limited for each session.

“I loved finally connecting with my Boerne neighbors while supporting local businesses.” That’s just one of the many pieces of feedback from recent Dinner Club attendees, and it’s becoming a common theme after each event.

At the last Dinner Club, nearly 120 locals were matched into small groups and spread across restaurants around Boerne, with more than 70 people sticking around for the after-party. It’s a simple idea: show up, get matched based on personality and preferences, share a meal with new people, and see where the night goes.

Cypress Grille is moving forward with a new bar space being built in the former Jac’s location right in front of the restaurant. The project marks a new chapter for the longtime local favorite, which will soon add cocktails to its offerings.

The restaurant is closed temporarily through the 18th for early construction work, with more updates expected as the project progresses toward a late-year opening.

Mi Pueblo Panaderia, located off North Main next to Lung Fung and Beyond Blessed Keepsakes, is one of the most affordable bakery spots in Boerne and a local favorite for fresh baked goods. It’s easy to miss, but their new sign makes it a lot easier to spot when driving by.
