StrongHER Community Workouts are free, beginner-friendly sessions designed to bring women together through movement, education, and connection. This month’s experience includes a guided yoga flow, breathwork, and a healthy gut and glow mocktail, all centered around feeling good and building strength together.

Hosted by the Rooted Strength community on June 27 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, it’s a welcoming space for all fitness levels with no experience required. The focus is simple: show up, move your body, and connect with other women in a supportive environment.

THE BOERNE GROTTO WAS BUILT AS A PROMISE AFTER A PANDEMIC

The grotto at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church was built as a vow of gratitude after the 1918 influenza epidemic, led by Father Wack and supported by the local community. Parishioners donated labor, raised funds, and helped haul stone while stonemason J.J. Scholz oversaw construction.

It remains today as a lasting symbol of faith, resilience, and community spirit in Boerne.
