A community blood drive is happening at 28 Songs Brewhouse & Kitchen on Friday, May 30 from 12–5 pm, giving you a chance to make a real impact while hanging out at one of Boerne’s favorite spots.

Everyone who donates will receive a sporty insulated tote plus a token for a free beverage for their next visit. It’s an easy way to give back, help save lives, and support a great community cause all in one stop.

Summer in Boerne is officially here, and this year’s lineup is packed with reasons to get out of the house. From outdoor concerts and festivals to family movie nights, live music, pool events, and Hill Country adventures, there’s something happening nearly every week all summer long.

One of the biggest highlights this season is Joshua Creek Ranch, where you can enjoy everything from casual poolside dining at Shooters Cantina to upscale evenings during the Cypress Lodge Fine Dining Series. Add in favorites like Moondance Concerts, Market Days, Das Festival of Kendall, fireworks, ice cream socials, and the Kendall County Fair, and your calendar’s about to fill up fast.

If you’ve been assuming new construction around Boerne or Fair Oaks Ranch is completely out of reach right now, Charley Wasson with Sunflower Real Estate says it might be time to take another look.

In his latest article, Charley breaks down why newly built home prices have dropped nationally, why this isn’t another 2008 situation, and how builders are quietly offering incentives like rate buydowns, upgrades, closing cost help, and even price cuts to move inventory. He also explains what all of this actually means specifically for Hill Country buyers, because Boerne real estate definitely plays by its own rules.

Mornings just got a whole lot better in Boerne. Boerne Radio 103.9FM teamed up with The Dienger Trading Co. this week to offer a breakfast deal that early risers are definitely going to appreciate.

Now through Friday from 7:30–8:45 am, customers can get a FREE breakfast special just by asking for the “Boerne Radio Special.” Between the cozy atmosphere and the fact that breakfast prices somehow feel illegal lately, this might be the easiest win of the week.

Right before heading out of town this past weekend, our car suddenly started making a weird noise. Thankfully, Shawn from Ranch Hand Rover stepped in fast and helped get everything handled before the trip was ruined.

Reliable, quick, and seriously clutch when timing matters most.
