Boerne Station Business Park Targets Summer Start

Long-Delayed Project on Historic Train Depot Site Eyes July Groundbreaking

After years of waiting, Boerne Station Business Park may finally be moving forward.

A new filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows construction could begin as early as July 1, with a projected two-year buildout and $900,000 investment. The business park is proposed for the site of the original Boerne train depot along Ebner Street — a location rich in local history and steps from the Old No. 9 Trail.

Originally announced nearly six years ago, this is the first update we’ve heard in quite some time.

Honoring Veterans This Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Boerne’s VFW Post 688 is inviting community volunteers to help honor local veterans this Memorial Day weekend. Flag placement will take place Friday at 5 pm at the Boerne Cemetery on School Street, followed by the official Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday at 11 am, and flag retrieval at 5 pm.

If you’d like to volunteer, call Comrade David Spoor at 210-862-0426. All are welcome to attend and participate in this meaningful tradition.
