Specialty Medical Campus Planned Across from Champion High
Big news for Boerneâs growing east side: the team behind Fair Oaks Emergency Room has announced plans to build a new Boerne Specialty Hospital right off Highway 46, directly across from Champion High School.

Long-Delayed Project on Historic Train Depot Site Eyes July Groundbreaking

After years of waiting, Boerne Station Business Park may finally be moving forward.
A new filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows construction could begin as early as July 1, with a projected two-year buildout and $900,000 investment. The business park is proposed for the site of the original Boerne train depot along Ebner Street â a location rich in local history and steps from the Old No. 9 Trail.
Originally announced nearly six years ago, this is the first update weâve heard in quite some time.

Honoring Veterans This Memorial Day đșđž
Boerneâs VFW Post 688 is inviting community volunteers to help honor local veterans this Memorial Day weekend. Flag placement will take place Friday at 5 pm at the Boerne Cemetery on School Street, followed by the official Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday at 11 am, and flag retrieval at 5 pm.
If youâd like to volunteer, call Comrade David Spoor at 210-862-0426. All are welcome to attend and participate in this meaningful tradition.
