SEVERE HEAT ALERT: TEMPS COULD BREAK RECORDS THIS WEEK 🔥
Heat Advisory in Effect Tuesday & Wednesday As We Top 100° Early

Starting this afternoon, an unseasonably severe heat wave is rolling into the Boerne area — and it's going to be intense. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 1 pm today through 9 pm Wednesday, with temperatures reaching blow-dryer-in-the-face levels.
Boerne highs are forecasted at 99° today and 102° on Wednesday, with the potential to break daily records — and possibly even the all-time May high for Boerne.
This early-season heat can be extra dangerous since most of us aren’t acclimated yet. Be smart and stay safe:
Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you're outdoors
Avoid peak afternoon sun
Wear light-colored clothing
Check on elderly neighbors and anyone without A/C
Keep pets cool and out of direct sun
We’ll keep you posted if warnings escalate, but bottom line: it’s going to be dangerously hot. Treat it like it’s August.

FREE CONCERT UNDER THE STARS THIS THURSDAY 🎶
Rockabilly Vibes, Lawn chairs, and a Perfect Boerne Night

This Thursday, head to the Patrick Heath Public Library amphitheater for a free evening of live music under the stars featuring the Living Hairitage Rockabilly Show.
It’s part of the Live! at the Library series, and it’s one of the best ways to spend a spring evening in Boerne. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, snacks — whatever makes the night more fun — and enjoy great music with your friends and neighbors.
We’re partnering with the Library to help spread the word. Attendance last month was great (watch here!) and would love to see you there for this edition!

THE ONLY MEN’S STORE IN TOWN — AND IT’S A GOOD ONE

Ladies have shops all up and down Main Street — but for men, there’s really just one name to know: Bechants Men’s. It’s Boerne’s only dedicated men’s store, and it’s packed with curated style, thoughtful gifts, and everyday essentials.
You’ll find everything from golf and fishing gear to dress clothes, handmade knives, colognes, leather goods, barware, and more — all selected with a sharp eye for quality.
They also carry Texas Hill Country Provisions clothing, which I personally really like!
Located right next to Free Roam Brewing, it’s a perfect stop for a gift, a wardrobe refresh, or just to treat yourself before grabbing a drink next door.
🕙 Open Monday–Saturday, 10 am–5 pm
📍 305 S Main Street, Boerne

BOERNE BEHIND THE SCENES 👀
Special Use Permit for O’Reilly Auto Parts on the Agenda Tonight at City Council Meeting
O’Reilly Auto Parts is hoping to become the next tenant in the Live Oak Shopping Center on North Main Street, joining the soon-to-open Dollar Tree. But before they can move in, they’ll need a special use permit — and that request goes before Boerne City Council tonight.
This item is open for public discussion, so if you have thoughts on the potential new neighbor, now’s your chance to share them. The meeting is open to all and will take place at City Hall.
