Bravo announced a new reality series with the working title Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives, and according to the network, it’s set right here in Boerne. The show is described as following glamorous Hill Country women balancing family life, ranches, social circles, and plenty of drama behind the scenes.
No cast members or release date have been announced yet, but let’s be honest… someone reading this probably knows somebody involved.

Kendall County officially finalized the acquisition of the Guadalupe River Ranch property along Highway 474, adding more than 321 acres and nearly three-quarters of a mile of Guadalupe River frontage to future conservation plans.
One of the biggest ideas tied to the property is Kendall County’s first-ever “Blue Trail,” which would eventually allow the public to float the Guadalupe River from county-owned land down to Kreutzberg Canyon Natural Area. No official timeline yet, but this could become one of the county’s biggest outdoor recreation projects in years.

Turns out the Hill Country is home to hundreds of bird species, and once you start noticing them… you kind of can’t stop. A recent hawk sighting at Veterans Plaza reminded us just how much wildlife is right here around Boerne.
Our partners at Wild Birds Unlimited at 110 Market Ave can help you turn your own backyard into a birdwatching destination with feeders, supplies, and expert advice for attracting local birds.

BOERNE COULD BE GETTING A MAJOR NEW AQUATIC COMPLEX... AND YOU COULD HELP MAKE IT A REALITY

A local nonprofit is working to bring a year-round indoor aquatic center to the Hill Country focused on swim lessons, recreation, competitions, therapy programs, Special Olympics athletes, and more.
This project is WAY bigger than just “a pool.”
The proposed Boerne Aquaplex would include a competition-sized pool, therapy pool, and programming for all ages and abilities — serving not just Boerne, but much of the surrounding Hill Country region.
With Boerne growing rapidly and aquatic resources becoming harder to access, organizers say the need has never been greater.
Boerne Aquaplex also says a recently completed feasibility study by Catapult Fundraising confirmed community support for the project and its mission.
The group recently shared its final conceptual renderings, and is now raising support and donations to help move the vision forward.
