Honda of Boerne is on the way, with construction well underway and a planned opening in September 2026. Owned by the Pohanka Automotive Group, a family-owned company operating since 1919, the dealership is hiring ahead of launch.
As progress continues, more updates will roll out along with opportunities to join their growing local team.

If you’ve driven past the Fairgrounds and wondered what that massive tent is, you’re not the only one. Messages have been coming in nonstop, and now there’s an answer. It’s for Cirque Ma’Ceo, a traveling show that combines equestrian performances with high-energy acrobatics in an up-close, immersive setting.
This isn’t your typical circus. Think powerful horse routines mixed with stunts and a more intimate experience that puts you right in the action. The show runs this weekend and next, so you’ve got a short window to check it out before it moves on.

Say hello to Boerne Farmhouse, a beautifully curated space built around a charming log cabin just off South Main. This is where vintage architectural salvage meets fresh, modern home goods, making it easy to mix old and new for a truly layered, one-of-a-kind look.
From mantels and corbels to live edge slabs, statement pieces, and vintage doors, their inventory is constantly changing and moves quickly. Design experts are on staff to help bring your vision together, and they’re open seven days a week with plenty of parking. Stop by 1499 S Main Street.

A major step toward improving safety on Highway 46 is happening now. Kendall County Commissioners are set to vote on a resolution asking TxDOT to take action on the stretch between I-10 and Highway 16, an area that’s seen more than 500 crashes and 13 fatalities over the past decade.
If approved, the resolution would push for a full safety assessment along with short-term fixes and long-term improvement plans through 2027. With nearby counties and state leaders already getting involved, this is gaining real momentum and could lead to meaningful changes.

Every time it rains, hundreds of gallons of water just run off your roof and disappear. Aqua-Man Water Conditioning designs custom rainwater systems that capture and store that water, giving you a clean, reusable source for landscaping, household use, or even a full supply with proper treatment.
Just one inch of rain on a 1,000 sq ft roof can produce around 500 gallons. That’s money saved, water conserved, and way more control over your usage.

With more electric bikes and dirt bikes showing up around town, local officials are stepping up enforcement to keep things safe. Not every electric bike qualifies as street-legal, and many of the dirt bikes being used don’t meet the requirements under Texas law.
To be considered a legal e-bike, it must have pedals, stay under 750 watts, and not exceed 28 mph. Anything beyond that may require registration, insurance, and a valid license to operate. Moving forward, officers will be actively enforcing these rules, so it’s important to know where you stand before riding.

Hidden along South Main Street is one of Boerne’s oldest structures, built in the 1850s by John G. O’Grady as part of a stagecoach stop, with local legend saying even Robert E. Lee once stayed there.
Today, the Vogt-Schoch House still stands as a quiet piece of history right across from Pizza Volterra, easy to miss but worth noticing, just be sure to view it from the street since it’s private property.
So we recommend you order a pizza from our partners at Pizza Volterra, and take a look at the old house from the street when you go pick it up!
