IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good Morning! It’s Earth Day, Boerne. We would like to celebrate by getting more rain (which it’s raining as we type this).
Here’s what we have for you today:
What’s being built off I-10 at Ranger Creek Rd
A surprising animal sighting in Boerne
New women’s western boutique
Rabies vaccinations on the cheap
And a whole lot more. Let’s get into it!

If you’ve driven past the Ranger Creek Road exit on I-10 West lately, you’ve probably noticed the construction and wondered what’s going on. You’re not alone, we’ve been getting messages nonstop asking the same thing. Now we’ve got the answer.
The project is Cibolo Vista Storage, a large climate-controlled facility totaling over 89,000 square feet, with more than 65,000 square feet of rentable space. While it might feel like it popped up out of nowhere, this development was actually approved back in December 2024 and is just now gaining momentum.

Tucked just off North Main on Market Ave, Brady’s Auto Repair & Diesel is one of those places you only hear about through word of mouth, and once you do, you don’t go anywhere else. They service all makes and models, including diesel trucks, with a detailed process that makes sure your vehicle is fixed right the first time, then double-checked before it leaves the shop.
With ASE-certified techs, AAA approval, diesel specialists with 30+ years of experience, and a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty, they’ve built serious trust in the community, backed by 700+ Google reviews and a 4.9-star rating.

NEW HIGH END SHOP WOMEN’S WESTERN STORE COMING TO THE BACK OF 248 N MAIN
(THAT SUPPLIED MEGAN MORONEY WITH BOOTS SHE WORE AT THE RODEO😮)

There’s something new popping up behind 248 N Main Chateau, and it’s definitely not your typical Hill Country boutique.
Ruby Sparkles, a Boerne-based luxury crystal cowgirl boot brand, is opening a shop in that small back building, and it’s bringing a whole different level of Western glam with it.
These aren’t your everyday boots. Each pair is custom, hand-embellished with crystal detailing, and the brand has already worked with artists like Megan Moroney and Billie Jo Jones, plus served as the official boot embellisher for Miss Rodeo America.

Need an affordable way to keep your pet protected? The Rabies Vaccination Clinic is coming to Boerne Animal Care Services on May 27 from 10 AM to 2 PM, offering vaccinations plus pet registration for just $20. Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly, so waiting isn’t the move here.
Open to both residents and non-residents, this is one of the easiest ways to get your pet covered without overspending.

Making new friends as an adult can be weirdly tough. We’re making it easier.
Did you hear about The Boerne Life Dinner Club! The response has been tremendous, with 9 tables full already! But we still have space…
Here’s how it works:
Take a quick quiz about your personality, interests, and food preferences.
Get matched with five other Boerne residents who fit your style (think food preferences, budget, life stage).
Your table of six meets for dinner on Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30PM - the exact restaurant is revealed that morning.
After dinner, all groups are invited to a casual after-meetup to keep the conversation going.
Want to go with someone specific (significant other, good friend, etc.)?
Fill out the form, then forward the link to that person. At the end of the quiz, you’ll have the option to invite a friend — they’ll get an email and need to book within 12 hours so the platform can seat you together.

Boerne has had its fair share of unexpected wildlife sightings, but this one might take the crown. Thanks to a reader submission, we can officially add giraffe to the list. And no, this isn’t one of those “someone’s joking” moments, it actually happened.
From kangaroos to zebras, Texas has always had a reputation for the unexpected, but seeing something like this still catches you off guard. At this point, nothing surprises us anymore… but we’re still going to double-take every time.

It’s National Volunteer Week, and if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, this is the perfect time to start. Boerne offers plenty of opportunities to give back, whether that’s supporting local families, helping animals, mentoring students, or contributing to community programs through organizations like Hill Country Daily Bread, Blessings in a Backpack, Patrick Heath Public Library, and The Cibolo Nature Center. Whether you have a few hours or want to commit longer-term, there’s a way to make an impact.
