Want more hummingbirds showing up daily? It starts with the right setup. Native, nectar-rich plants like Bee Balm, Cardinal Flower, Coral Honeysuckle, Salvia, and Columbine naturally attract them and keep them coming back. Pair that with a quality feeder, and now your yard becomes their go-to stop.
Not sure what to plant or where to start? Getting it right makes all the difference, and a few small changes can bring way more activity to your space than you’d expect.

A new UPS Store is officially on the way to Lemon Creek Ranch, bringing more convenience to the area near Fair Oaks HEB. Local owner Afarin Edwards, who has been running the Leon Springs location for the past decade, is expanding her presence and continuing to grow within the Boerne community.
This new location is expected to open by the end of 2026 and will offer expanded services like shipping and printing for nearby residents. It’s a solid step forward for the area and a sign of continued growth happening right around Boerne.

PSA: LIVE CANNON WILL BE FIRED IN DOWNTOWN BOERNE
Yes, it’s real. A cannon will be fired in downtown Boerne as part of a San Jacinto Day event happening right after the noon siren at the Kendall County Courthouse Complex. The event includes a plaque dedication honoring William B. Travis’ historic “Victory or Death” letter, with descendants of the Alamo expected to be there.
It’s not every day you get to witness a moment of Texas history like this, especially one that comes with a literal boom. If you’re nearby, it’s worth stopping by and experiencing it in person.

WHAT IF YOU COULD SAVE ALL THAT RAIN WATER?
Our partners at Aqua-man Water Conditioning specialize in designing and installing custom rainwater systems that fit the needs of your home or business. These systems capture and store hundreds of gallons every time it rains, giving you an extra source of clean water you can use for landscaping, household needs, or even as a full supply system with proper treatment.
Rainwater harvesting puts you in control. One inch of rainfall on a 1,000-square-foot roof produces around 500 gallons of water. Imagine capturing that instead of letting it run off. By supplementing your usage, you can save money on your water bill and save water in the Hill Country.
