IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning Boerne! Happy National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day. Although, there’s not much to celebrate for us, because when you work out of a home office, every day can be National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day. 🤷

Here’s what we’ve got for you today:

  • Unique roadside attractions right here in Boerne

  • The latest update on Buc-ee’s

  • One of the toughest (and best) views around

  • Mothers & Daughters of Main Street #3

And a whole lot more. Let’s get into it!

SHOOTER'S CANTINA OPENS FOR THE SEASON ON APRIL 23RD... AND WE HAVE THE MENU DROP

Last summer, we experienced lunch dining at Shooter's Cantina at Joshua Creek Ranch for the first time. Covered patio dining overlooking a sparkling pool with lush landscaping tucked on the edges of Boerne in the Hill Country.

Brisket nachos, shrimp tacos, margarita... it really doesn't get much better.

So with that, we're excited to announce that the opening date is set, April 23rd, and we have the official menu drop! Take a look and mark your calendars.

We're proud to partner with such a world class organization as Joshua Creek Ranch. See you at Shooter's Cantina!

You don’t have to leave town to find something interesting to see. Boerne has its own collection of roadside attractions, from historic landmarks like the Fabra Smokehouse to unexpected finds like the old bank vault inside Bechants.

There are also some fun, more offbeat stops like the Muffler Man off I-10, a giant rocking chair, and even dinosaur tracks at the Cibolo Nature Center.

Meeting new people as an adult isn’t always easy, so this is built to fix that. The Boerne Life Dinner Club matches you with a group of locals based on your personality, interests, and food preferences, then sets you up for a dinner you don’t have to plan.

You’ll be placed at a table of six and meet on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 PM, with the restaurant revealed that morning. After dinner, there’s a casual meetup so the night doesn’t have to end there. You can even invite a friend or partner to join your table.

We announced it yesterday and already have six groups! We hope to see you there!

It might look quiet out there, but the Buc-ee’s project isn’t stalled. According to the City, permits have been submitted and are currently under review, with additional work happening around infrastructure planning.

Some equipment has been removed and signage is outdated, which adds to the confusion, but there’s still progress happening, just not the kind you can see yet.

What starts as a small leak can quietly turn into a serious problem. Mold isn’t just cosmetic, it can damage your home and impact your health if it’s not handled the right way.

Rock Renovations, a father-and-son team serving Boerne and the Hill Country, specializes in proper mold remediation. With experience on large-scale projects like Camp Stanley and Fort Bliss, they don’t just clean it up, they fix the source, remove it correctly, and restore your home so it’s safe again. If the damage runs deeper, they can handle full repairs, remodels, and rebuilds too.

Call 830-250-4504 or visit here if you suspect mold and want it handled right
