HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY

Here’s Where to Celebrate šŸ€

Didn’t get enough St. Paddy’s fun this weekend? Good news is there are still some spots open today that can give you your green beer and festive food fix:

  • Cibolo Creek Brewing - food specials plus Irish-themed beers, including Green Blonde, Irish Red, and Milk Stout

  • Dodging Duck - Green Beer and I think they have a Reuben although I’m not 100% sure on that one

  • Fair Oaks Roost - cottage pie, Gaelic mushroom swiss burger, and fish & chips specials, Green Miller Lite and Dos Equis, ā€œKeep the Glassā€ Guiness, and shots of Jameson

  • Free Roam Brewing - Coyle’s Irish Red, a hearty Irish ale, and green beer

  • Salvador Dobbs - green beer, Irish tunes on the jukebox, and $5 Irish Car Bombs all day long

On top of that, there’s a special comedy and game night tonight at DeVino Cellars!

Have fun, not sure we’ll be partying on a Monday though. 🤣

WATER: WE’RE GOOD šŸ’¦

For A Few Decades, At Least

Despite concerns from many residents, Boerne has enough water to sustain current growth for decades. At last week’s City Council meeting, Boerne Utilities Director Michael Mann confirmed that the city has a reliable water supply until at least 2060, with projections extending to 2070 under low-growth conditions.

šŸ”¹ 72% of Boerne’s water comes from surface water sources
šŸ”¹ 15% is groundwater
šŸ”¹ 13% is reclaimed water, helping reduce potable water use

City officials emphasized that Boerne is not over-allocating its water supply, and its policies ensure responsible growth and conservation efforts.
