Here’s What You Need to Know

If you want to know what’s going on behind the scenes in town or if you’d like to get involved, then the City Council meetings are your best starting point. Tonight’s meeting is especially interesting because they’ll be dealing with annexation and zoning requests related to the controversial Spencer Ranch Development on Highway 46 West.

Back at the end of 2024, the developers requested a zoning change that would allow them to build more densely. This was denied for many reasons, including water and drainage concerns, as well as dangerous traffic conditions there on that curve.

Tonight the issue goes before City Council, so if you have an opinion, you’re encouraged to attend. You can get more info on that and everything else on the agenda by clicking below!

New Head Football Coach at Boerne High School

In case you hadn’t heard, Boerne High was on the search for a new head football coach, after their uber-successful last coach moved on for a much-deserved university position. Good news is they didn’t have to look far, as they found their replacement pick right here. And last night, Boerne's Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Brett Sawyer, their former Defensive Coordinator, as new Head Football Coach. More info.
