Have you been to the Richter Bakhaus bakery that’s tucked back behind Cork & Keg next to The Boerne Bookshop?

If you haven’t then you may not have heard about their giant cinnamon roll, which is literally as big as your head.

Well, it went viral on Instagram again, and yesterday we found lines out the door, literally all day, of people waiting to get their hands on one. It’s really wild!

NEW SUSHI SPOT IS ON ITS WAY 🍣

New Location in Fair Oaks Coming in a Few Months

We’ve heard rumors about a new sushi spot opening in Fair Oaks Ranch. Well, it turns out it’s true. Toro’ko Sushi, a highly reviewed spot with locations in San Antonio, confirmed in the San Antonio Restaurants Facebook group that they’re looking to open a new spot in Fair Oaks “in 3-4 months.”

While we haven’t confirmed where this location is going, we THINK it’s in the strip center with Fair Oaks Roost right there off I-10 at the main Fair Oaks entrance.

Who is looking forward to some good sushi in town?! 🍥

CONSTRUCTION TO RESUME 🚧

West Blanco Closure around Main Plaza

You might remember us mentioning this construction a couple weeks ago. Well, city crews were derailed for two reasons:

1) The cold weather
2) They hit an old gas line that wasn’t properly buried 👀

Good news is that they are good to get moving again today. Bad news is that you’re going to want to avoid the area. 🤣

When they finish, they will move on to work on West Kronkosky and Parkway Drive.
