🥶 MAJOR FREEZE INCOMING TONIGHT
It’s Time to Get Prepared!
An arctic front arrives tonight, bringing dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills into the single digits. In fact, expect temps to drop 15-20 degrees in one hour!
Wednesday morning, there will be a widespread hard freeze with lows in the teens to low 20s and wind chills between 6-20°F. And Wednesday night into Thursday morning will likely be the worst of it, with wind chills near 0°F possible in some areas.
Thursday and Friday will likely bring another hard freeze, with temps staying below freezing most of the day. 😱
How to Prepare Today:
✅ Protect Your Pipes – Wrap exposed pipes, open cabinet doors, and let faucets drip overnight.
✅ Bring Pets Inside – If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them!
✅ Cover Plants – Use blankets, sheets, or frost cloth to protect sensitive plants.
✅ Check on Elderly Neighbors – Make sure they have heat and supplies.

Need help with your taxes? The AARP Tax Assistance Program is offering free tax prep at the Patrick Heath Public Library through April 15.
When: Mondays – Wednesdays, 10 AM – 4 PM
Where: Patrick Heath Public Library
Appointments Only – Call (830) 249-3053 to schedule.
IRS-certified volunteers will help you get the deductions and credits you qualify for.

DID YOU KNOW? Ann B. Davis, the actress who played Alice on The Brady Bunch, is laid to rest right here in Boerne.
After retiring from acting, she moved to San Antonio and became deeply involved in the Episcopal Church. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 88 and was cremated, with her ashes placed at St. Helena’s Columbarium & Memorial Gardens (410 N. Main St., Boerne).
It's really a beautiful, tranquil spot.
