The second annual Hope in Motion 5K takes place Saturday, February 28 at Champion High School, with the race starting at 8:00am. This walking and running event brings the community together in support of Blood Cancer United, raising funds and awareness for families impacted by blood cancer.
Packet pickup will be Thursday (2/26) and Friday (2/27) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the CHS Bus Loop. Keep in mind there is a $10 price increase during race week, so early registration is encouraged. Whether you are racing for a personal best or simply showing up to support the cause, every step makes an impact.

The Wildlife & Natural Resources Committee is on a mission to help Texans understand, appreciate, and protect the great outdoors. Through monthly Hunter Education courses, hands-on conservation programs, and large-scale events like the Texas Game Fair, they are inspiring all ages to connect with the land, wildlife, and the legacy we leave behind.

HERE’S WHAT’S REPLACING THE BAR AREA OF CYPRESS GRILLE
A new chapter is coming to Main Street as La Te Da and Pixie merge into one beautiful new space across the street. Doors are set to open in April 2026, creating a refreshed shopping experience while keeping the same local charm customers love.
