1. Cypress Grille’s $1 Beer & Bar Farewell
Cypress Grille’s bar area is closing, and the send-off includes $1 draft beer during its final day of service. The restaurant will remain open in a smaller space toward the back, but this is the last call for drinks in the original bar area. Learn more
2. Roc-N-Ritas Announces Closing
Another local spot is saying goodbye as Roc-N-Ritas as it unexpectedly shuttered all 5 of its Hill country Locations. Learn more

4. Fair Oaks Ranch Ranked 5th Safest City in Texas
Fair Oaks Ranch has been named the 5th safest city in Texas and the safest in the San Antonio area. The ranking is based on FBI crime data and highlights the city’s ongoing focus on public safety. Learn more

5. Girl Happy Boutique Is Now Open
Girl Happy Boutique has officially opened its doors on South Main Street. Expect gifts, paper goods, custom items, and creative classes from a familiar local face back in retail. Learn more
6. Final Flyover Opens at 1604/I-10
The final flyover at the 1604 and I-10 interchange is now open, giving drivers heading west on 1604 a smoother exit north onto I-10 toward Boerne. Construction isn’t finished yet, but this is a big step forward for traffic flow. Learn more
7. Kronkosky State Natural Area Update
Progress is becoming more visible at the Albert & Bessie Kronkosky State Natural Area west of town. Trails, buildings, and campsites are taking shape as the long-awaited park moves closer to opening. Learn more

8. Coffee With A Cop At Black Rifle Coffee Co
Coffee with a Cop returns March 21 from 9–11 am at Black Rifle Coffee Co, presented by The Boerne Life in partnership with the Boerne Police Department. It’s a relaxed way to connect with local officers over a cup of coffee. Learn more
9. Carmella’s Pizza Parlor Sign Goes Up
It’s official. The signage is up at 110 Market Ave, and Carmella’s Pizza Parlor is starting to look like the real deal. Interior construction has been moving steadily, and owner Don Kretz is still aiming for a mid-March soft opening, pending final city approval.
