Our friends at Boerne Radio got the scoop - there’s a giant tent out at I-10 and South Main Street right near where Buc-ee’s is supposed to come. The running theory? It will soon be filled with Christmas trees for you to purchase.

Boerne ISD VATRE Passes

In a narrow vote, Boerne ISD voters approved a small property tax increase — 2 cents per $100 value — to boost teacher pay and address facility needs. The measure is expected to generate $4.8 million annually. It was a close vote, with 51% in favor and 49% in opposition.

Boerne P&Z Delays Buc-ee’s Parking Zoning

The long-awaited Buc-ee’s Boerne project hit another pause. The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission tabled a vote on zoning ratification for the store’s second parking tract, citing pending agreements. Discussion is set to resume in December.
