IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good Morning, Boerne! Before we get started today, real quick wanted to let you know that in our list of events yesterday, we added a Chuck Wagon meal this week at Frost Bank. Turns out, that’s at their Fredericksburg location, NOT Boerne. So wanted to make sure to correct that and avoid any confusion!

Okay, here’s your quick look at what’s on the Boerne radar.

  • A new restaurant concept may be coming to Boerne

  • A haunted cocktail pop-up is coming to a historic building

  • A new business camp is helping young entrepreneurs get started

And a whole lot more. Let’s get into it!

Highview Veterinary Hospital has officially opened its doors in Boerne, and The Boerne Life got to bring in its very first patient. The locally and family-owned hospital is led by husband-and-wife team Dr. Mike and Dr. Amelia Rauch and features an open-concept approach designed to keep pets with their owners throughout as much of the visit as possible.

Highview offers routine and sick visits, surgery, dentistry, allergy care, and more. They also see chickens and other animals, and they’re now accepting new patients at 5 Coughran Rd., Suite 105.

Fork to Fit Kitchen is planning a new Boerne location in Boerne Town Center next to Van Nail Salon. A state filing shows a $390,000 interior finish-out planned for the 1,185-square-foot space, with construction currently scheduled to begin November 2.

The Rio Grande Valley-based concept serves convenient, macro-friendly meals including protein-packed bowls, chicken Alfredo, salmon, birria tacos, and enchiladas, along with coffee, matcha, smoothies, and more. The estimated completion date is March 20, 2027, though those plans could change.

Camp Bar & Feed is teaming up with Lillian from Assemble Cocktail Workshop for “Haunted in the Hospital,” a Halloween-themed cocktail pop-up running October 15–31, Thursdays through Saturdays from 6–10 PM+. The event will transform Camp’s historic space at 421 S. Main into a spooky cocktail experience.

The building dates back to around 1890 and was later converted into a 12-bed hospital by Dr. Jack R. Diamond, which operated there from 1949 to 1954. After previous themed pop-ups, this will be Camp’s first haunted Halloween edition.
