IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning, Boerne. This is The Boerne Life, the newsletter that can’t wait for the doggy costume contest at Barktoberfest! But that’s not all that’s happening, so let’s take a look.👇

1. DON’T MISS THE BOERNE CHAMPION FFA BURGER BASH THIS WEEKEND

The Boerne Champion FFA Burger Bash is taking over 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen this Sunday, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most fun (and delicious) events of the season.

Grab a burger plate complete with a side, pickle, cookie, and tea or lemonade, then stick around for live music, mechanical bull riding, a cornhole tournament, and even a watermelon eating contest.

They’ll also have axe throwing, commemorative mugs with discounted brews during the event, and limited-edition Burger Bash shirts available for purchase. So for the first thing to do this week, come support a great cause and have some fun. Get all the details here.

FEELS LIKE A PIZZA WEEKEND TO US… BUT ORDER EARLY đźŤ•

Boerne can’t get enough of Pizza Volterra’s authentic taste of Tuscany, and they’ve been selling out most nights lately. Since their dough is made fresh daily, they can only make about 100 pizzas and panuozzos a day.

So here’s our recommendation: to snag yours, order before 6 pm and check their online menu for updates once dough runs low. Open Tues - Sat, 11 - 9. Located at 605 S Main.
