HILL COUNTRY HIGH TEA BRINGS AN ELEGANT NEW EXPERIENCE TO BOERNE ☕

Here’s something new we fell across recently that we thought you’d want to know about. It’s a new kind of gathering in town… one that’s quiet, refined, and full of charm. ANOTHER SMOKE & VAPE SHOP IS COMING TO MAIN STREET

Two nights ago we were driving back from Comfort Concert in the Park (not to derail, but you can watch that here) on the north side of Main when we saw a little green circle lit up in the window of the long-vacant building at 941 N Main St.

Upon closer inspection, and a bit of internet sleuthing, we found it's a new shop called "Howdy Smoke & Vape."

So there you have it, in case you were wondering what was going to fill the spot! No word yet on when it will open.

Petition Pushes for George Strait to Headline the Super Bowl

A new online petition is making waves, calling for George Strait to replace Bad Bunny as the 2026 Super Bowl halftime performer. The petition, which has already gathered thousands of signatures, argues that “King George” would better represent American music and family-friendly entertainment.

While Strait hasn’t commented, the idea has plenty of fans here in the Hill Country, especially after his recent “Strait to the Heart” benefit concert in Boerne this summer. Whether or not it happens, we can all agree, a George Strait halftime show would be better… right? And yes, we know this whole thing is silly.

Hallow Fest Health Fair at The Center Tomorrow

The Center’s annual Hallow Fest Health Fair is back this Friday, October 17, from 10 am to 1 pm — combining wellness and a little Halloween fun! Seniors can enjoy vendor booths, games, prizes, and the always-popular Witch’s Brew Bar, plus popcorn, desserts, and great food.
