IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning, Boerne. This is The Boerne Life, the newsletter that wants to remind you that the library is closed today for Columbus Day, so no free programming there today. Most federal and state offices are closed too, along with banks.
But don’t worry, there’s still plenty going on in town this week, so let’s take a look!

It’s almost that time of year again… open enrollment season is right around the corner, and many families and small business owners are taking a closer look at their health insurance options.
That’s why we have a message from Penn Mallery, a local insurance expert who helps Boerne families and business owners find affordable, personalized PPO health plans that offer flexibility and nationwide coverage.
If you’ve been frustrated with high premiums or limited networks, Penn can help you explore what’s possible before open enrollment begins. In fact, he recently helped The Boerne Life with our insurance. And maybe he could help you!
Watch the video here. Or give him a call at (806) 368-1944.

TRAIN LIKE A CHAMPION AT NEWKS 🎾
Looking ahead to the holidays? Newks Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels is already lining up its world-class junior tennis camps, widely considered some of the best in the Texas Hill Country.
Thanksgiving Camp runs Nov. 22–26, followed by Winter Camps on Dec. 19–23, Dec. 26–31, and Jan. 1–4. Each camp is customized by age and skill level — beginners learn the basics, while competitive players train hard with on-court fitness to get tournament ready.
The camps are a blast on and off the court. Our own daughter attended this summer and came home a stronger player — strong enough to make varsity at Boerne High as a sophomore. We credit Newks for giving her that edge.

MOTIVATION MONDAY: SIGN UPS ARE LIVE FOR THE JINGLE ALL THE WAY 5K & WALK
Need a physical goal to put on the calendar? This is one of the most fun runs of the year (don’t worry, you can walk too!). We’ve done it a couple of times, and people dress up in Christmas gear for a festive time. It starts and ends at the library, which is cool because it’s a different route than all the other 5K’s in town.
Oh, and it benefits a great local charity, Transformation House. We’re going to register. So how bout you?
