Fall in Boerne brings cooler mornings, festive downtown strolls, and plenty of reasons to shop local. From Boerne Market Days on Main Plaza to the Fall Native Plant Sale at Herff Farm, there are seasonal markets and pop-ups filled with handmade goods, fresh produce, plants, and unique finds.
The fun continues with the Boerne Farmers Market Fall Festival, Fall Diva Night, and the Boerne Handmade Market, where you can browse local boutiques and get a head start on holiday shopping. Whether you're searching for gifts or simply looking for a fun way to spend a fall weekend, there's something worth adding to your calendar.

The Boerne Senior Expo is happening October 14 at The Bevy, bringing together health and wellness resources, financial planning experts, local organizations, and vendors all in one place. Attendees can also enjoy bingo and hourly giveaways throughout the day!
Admission and parking are free, making it easy to spend the day discovering helpful resources, meeting local organizations, and connecting with the community.

A flyer spotted on a downtown Boerne light pole led to a surprising discovery: Wide Awake Arts & Music Festival is taking over Nelson City Dance Hall on October 16–17. The 18+ event will feature four stages of live music and DJs, plus live art, vendors, and an overnight camping area.
And this isn't your typical evening festival. Music is scheduled to continue until 9 AM, making it a full overnight experience just down the road from Boerne at 825 FM 289, next to PoPo Family Restaurant. The venue may look like an empty parking lot right now, but that could change quickly as festival weekend approaches.

Looking for a festive way to celebrate the holiday season? The 8th Street Market in Comfort is getting into the Christmas spirit with its Christmas Extravaganza, offering a reason to explore this unique shopping destination and discover something special.
Known for its eclectic collection of vintage finds, antiques, art, and home décor from local vendors, The 8th Street Market is a great place to browse for one-of-a-kind treasures and holiday gift ideas. Check out the event details and see what’s planned for the season!

You don’t have to be looking to adopt to make a difference. Simply spending time with the kittens helps them build confidence and become more familiar with human interaction. Of course, there’s always a chance you’ll fall in love with one along the way!
