The 4th Annual Kick Up Your Heels Gala returns on February 7, 2026, bringing music, dinner, and fundraising together at the Kendall County Fairgrounds. Hosted by the Kendall County Fair Association, this volunteer-run nonprofit relies entirely on events like this to maintain and improve its historic 55-acre property.

All proceeds from the gala go toward facility upgrades, with a major focus this year on adding air conditioning to the large hall, a big win for comfort during Texas summers. NEW BOUTIQUE COMING TO RIVER ROAD

A few people have asked what's coming to 612 River Road just east of Sunny's. So we're letting you know: Elara Aesthetics & Boutique.

This new women's boutique has actually been temporarily located at 170 Main St as a pop up in the old JAC's location.

No official word yet on the opening date, but we know it's coming soon. We'll update when we know for sure!

THE LITTLE GYM OF BOERNE GOT A GLOW UP

Have you seen the new mural outside The Little Gym of Boerne? It’s hard to miss — and a fun reminder of the space where local kids have been learning, moving, and building confidence each week for nearly two years now.

The Little Gym offers gymnastics-based classes starting as young as 4 months old, plus open play sessions where kids can safely explore and have fun. The Little Gym is located at. 1433 S Main St. You can learn more here.
