IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning, Boerne. We’re halfway through the week and there’s a bright, sunny day ahead. Here’s what today holds:
A community-sourced guide to the best soup spots in Boerne
Applications now open for the Citizens Law Enforcement Academy
Possible second fiber internet option popping up in North Boerne
Where are we Wednesday?
And a whole lot more. Let’s get into it!

YOU KNOW THEIR BEER, BUT WHAT ABOUT THEIR FOOD?
When people think of 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen, they often think of craft beer and sports, but their food menu deserves just as much attention.
Whether you’re craving smoked brisket-loaded tater tots (Hill Country Totchos are delicious), award winning burgers (won best of in 2025), crispy wings, or monster-sized hot dogs, this spot delivers big flavors to match their big selection of beer.
And as a veteran-owned and operated business, they take pride in serving great food, great beer, and a great atmosphere for the community.
And, of course, if you want to pair your meal with a cold brew, they’ve got 28 taps, with plenty of house-brewed beers to choose from. And did we mention their lunch specials?
Stop by 110 Market Ave and tell them The Boerne Life sent you!

When colder weather settles into the Hill Country, Boerne locals know exactly where to go for a great bowl of soup. And we’ve crowd sourced the ultimate guide to soup in Boerne!
This guide is presented by Boerne Epicure Gourmet Market, a specialty food store offering a wide variety of high-quality gourmet foods, including bone broth, soup starters, and more at 210 S Main.

SINGING WATER VINEYARDS WINS ANOTHER AWARD

We’ve talked about their award winning wines (they’ve even beat out all the vineyards in California for their Cabernet!), but now Singing Water Vineyards has another feather to stick in their cap: Business of the Year Under 50 Employees!
And can we say, we’re not surprised? Not only do they have a gorgeous winery with awesome wines, but owners Andy and Missy Ivankovich give tons back to the Comfort community and helped spearhead flood relief efforts this past summer.
Well-deserved, and congrats to our partners. Make sure to visit them and have a glass or two this weekend at 316 Mill Dam Rd. Learn more them here.

Ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes in local law enforcement? This program offers a closer look at how policing works in the community, beyond what most people ever get to see.
The Citizens Law Enforcement Academy brings together the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, and Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department for a hands-on experience starting March 18. Participants will explore patrol procedures, criminal investigations, polygraphs, and scenario-based training.
Applications are now open, but spots are limited.
