IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning, Boerne. Fun fact - the next two days are the warmest it will get all week, with some sources saying it will drop as low as 17 degrees this weekend. 👀 But before all that, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy non-freezing temps.
Here’s what we have for you today:
A brand-new guide to things to do with babies around Boerne
A new yoga studio headed to downtown Main Street
A first look inside an upcoming coffee shop and café on North Main
And a whole lot more. Let’s get into it!

WHO HAS TIME TOO COOK ON A WEDNESDAY?

You’re tired. The kids are hungry. You don’t want to cook or buy fast food.
Those are the nights when Pioneers Meats really comes through. For $39.95, you get a whole flame-grilled chicken that feeds a family of four, plus a family-size side of Portuguese rice or fries. It’s fully cooked, healthy, and actually feels like a proper dinner, not a backup plan.
Choose lemon herb or peri peri if your crew likes a little spice. They’ll even cut the chicken into four pieces for you, and most orders are ready in about 15–20 minutes.
It’s the kind of meal you grab on the way home and still sit down together at the table.

From parent-and-baby gymnastics and music classes to stroller-friendly trails and indoor play spaces, this list is packed with local options that help parents find both routine and community. Whether the goal is fresh air, movement, or meeting other parents, there’s something here for every stage.

START WITH YOUR HOME’S VALUE
Thinking about selling this spring? This is a smart place to start.
With more buyers paying attention again, now is a great time to get a feel for what your home could sell for in today’s market. Our partner Charley Wasson with Sunflower Real Estate offers a quick, no-pressure tool that shows an estimated home value based on current Boerne-area data.
Even if you’re just exploring the idea of selling in 2026, having that number can help you decide what makes sense next.

WHERE BOERNE COLLECTORS GO TO TALK CARDS

PrimeTime Sports Cardz has become a familiar stop for collectors in Boerne. Tucked into the Napa Oaks Shopping Center, the shop is stocked with sports cards, trading cards, memorabilia, and supplies for both longtime hobbyists and newcomers.
It’s the kind of place that brings back that old-school card shop feeling, where browsing turns into conversations and every visit feels a little different. Whether you’re chasing a specific card or just enjoy seeing what’s new, it’s a solid local spot that’s found its footing.

Selah Café is coming together on North Main Street, and early looks inside the space show real momentum. This family-run spot plans to offer coffee with house-made syrups, New York–style bagels with schmear, fresh sourdough and pastries from a local micro-bakery, plus a mini market and bookstore.
Run by two local families, Selah Café is shaping up to be more than just a coffee stop. More updates are expected as opening gets closer, but this sneak peek has already sparked plenty of excitement.

EVER NOTICED THE GRAPE ARBOR AT THE BOERNE PUBLIC LIBRARY?

Just to the left of the Boerne Public Library, between the library and the used bookstore, sits a beautiful grape arbor that creates a shaded path leading toward the backyard area with the amphitheater and playground. It’s one of those small details that makes the space feel calm, especially on a nice day.
Completed in 2011 as an Eagle Scout project, the arbor adds both charm and history to the library grounds. If it’s been a while since you’ve wandered that side of the property, this is your reminder to slow down, take the longer route, and enjoy one of Boerne’s quieter little features.
