HISTORIC HILL COUNTRY RANCH TO BECOME KENDALL COUNTY’S NEXT 300+ ACRE PARK

A well-known Hill Country property is on track to become Kendall County’s newest public park after commissioners approved the purchase of roughly 310 acres along FM 474 and the Guadalupe River. The former Guadalupe River Ranch and Desperado Resort will be transformed into a county-owned conservation and recreation area just a short drive from Boerne.

One of the biggest highlights is the creation of Kendall County’s first-ever Blue Trail, which will allow managed public access for floating, kayaking, and canoeing.

BOERNE DANCERS BRING HOME SEVEN WORLD TITLES

Boerne has a new reason to celebrate after the Ministry of Dance team returned from the UCWDC World Championships with seven world titles. Competing against dancers from more than 20 countries, the team delivered standout performances on an international stage.

Along with the championship wins, individual dancers earned a silver medal finish and multiple top-five placements across divisions.

The City of Boerne is preparing to begin a series of long-term improvements at Boerne Cemetery aimed at safety, preservation, and respectful care of this historic space.
